Hi Readers!
Oh my gosh. Okay. It’s happening. The month long magical readathon is back and we have lots of reading to do people!
Firstly, if you’re unaware somehow, any information you need for this readathon can be found on the creator G’s channel here. But essentially this is a highly creative and original readathon where G has created a world, and we (the readers) complete challenges to create a character to exist in this world.
There has already been two mini readathons to get our character off the ground (although G does say you don’t need to have participated in those to participate in this one). This month long readathon is now our chance to pick a Calling for our character.
The challenges are based on magic practices and come with prompts you need to complete to pass those subjects.
So, my character is Robin Rivule. She is a Water Earthling, a Mind Walker who travels through the Astral Plane, and during this readathong I will be aiming towards the Calling of becoming an Archmage, who are scholars of magic, and seek to master every known discipline.
There are 6 subjects I need to complete, but of course, I like to be ambitious during a readathon, and I do plan on trying to complete all of them…

I also have a few more books on my TBR (I know, I’m mad)
I have Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte to read for the brontealong hosted by Mary, Sarah and Milena.
I also have a couple of Women’s Prize longlisted books that have come in from the library I would like to get to. I have The Final Revival of Opal and Nev by Dawnie Walton, and This One Sky Day by Leone Ross, and possibly more if they come in from the library.
I’m really excited about this TBR, even if I am slightly intimidated. We’ll see how it goes!
This is amazing! I am always in awe of the work that went into putting this readathon together!
I am also hoping to read Still Life in April!
