Dewey’s 24 Hour Reverse Readathon | TBR

July 22nd, 2022

Hi Readers!

Yes, I did promise myself that last time would be the last time I take part in a twenty-four hour readathon, but I have too many books out of the library at the moment and some of them would be perfect for a readathon, so I thought I’d give it a try.

The readathon starts at 8PM EST, so 1AM where I am, but I think I’ll just aim to wake up at my usual time of 5/5:30AM, and hopefully read until 1AM the next morning. Here’s what I might be picking up…

Assembly by Natasha Brown
This little almost novella length novel is perfect for a 24 hour readathon. I’ve been hearing so much about this book all over the internet and I’m excited to finally get to it.

Poirot Investigates by Agatha Christie
This is a collection of short stories following the detective Poirot, and I’d like to finally read at least the first story in this collection.

Women In Sport: Fifty Fearless Athletes Who Played To Win by Rachel Ignotofsky
I have a bunch of sports books out from the library at the moment for ‘research’ and I’m particularly excited about this one as it’s a comprehensive look at successful women in sport, and it’s also beautifully illustrated.

Heartstopper Volume 3 by Alice Oseman
I know I can read these super quickly and I’m dying for some more of Nick and Charlie. They’re so cute!

I’m also in the middle of these three books. I’m reading a little here and there of them, and hopefully I’ll make a bit of progress in all three tomorrow…

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas
The Odyssey by Homer
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott

Are you planning on taking part in Dewey’s tomorrow?

Thanks For Reading,
Jess X
