December 19th, 2020
Thank you so much to Pilar of The Bookworm Shelf who very kindly nominated me for this award! She’s also doing blogmas this month and I’ve really enjoyed reading her posts, so everyone go check her out. It was a little while so I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get these questioned answered, but here they are!
- Provide a link back to the creators original post ( This award was originally created by Colton Beckwith).
- Answer the questions provided.
- Create 7 unique questions.
- Nominate 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator, nor the blogger that nominated you, can be nominated.
- At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award.
1.What is one of your favourite traditions (from any holiday or just in general)?
My favourite tradition has got to be putting up the Christmas decorations the first week of December. Some people think it’s too early but by then trees are popping up in house windows and I just can’t wait any longer for my house to get festive!
2. What are you currently reading and what do you think so far?
Right now I’m in the middle of The Duke And I (which will soon be on Netflix as Bridgerton) and I am loving it! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it before. All Pride and Prejudice fans must read it!
What is your favourite sport (either to play or watch)?
I actually wasn’t all that bad at sport. I have good hand-eye coordination and in school I played lots of tennis, rounders and netball. My favourite to watch is tennis though and I really missed Wimbledon this year! But I think my favourite to play was netball.
What is your favourite childhood TV show/movie?
One movie that has stuck with me all these years is The Secret Garden. I’ve said this a lot recently, but it really reminds me of my Nan who I can’t see this Christmas due to Covid. I miss her a lot and this book/movie just makes me feel closer to her.
Do you aspire to write a book someday? If yes, what genre?
Definitely, and honestly I have ideas for all sorts of genres. I’m currently working on a YA contemporary though. I thought I’d best stick with my favourite genre to read.
What is your dream job?
Writer. Or just something that doesn’t require me interacting with other people who hours at a time!
What do you struggle the most with while blogging?
Not being repetitive. There’s only so many ideas I can come up with and phrases I can use to describe a book. But so far the creativity hasn’t dried up so I’ll keep going!
