10 Ways Of Coping With Isolation Anxiety

International Women's Day Reading Recommendations (5)

Hi Readers!

The news, restrictions and uncertain futures isn’t good for anybodies mental health and if anxiety is something you already struggled with I know how hard you must be finding these strange times.

Right now we’ve got to take each day as it comes, look after ourselves, and try and keep out minds off of what brings on the anxiety. Technically this is for top 5 tuesday but I just couldn’t stop at five so I’ve given you ten ways I’ve been doing that these past few weeks.

Writing A Book

This might be the extreme and there’s no need to be THIS productive if you’re feeling anxious. But for me I love to have goals and something to focus on and giving writing a try will definitely help with that.

Learning A New Language

Again, this is quite a productive thing to do but I love using duolingo and it’s a great way of passing the time whilst stuck at home.

Baking

That is if you can find any flour…

Reading That Book You Meant To Read And Never Did

We’ve all got that huge book on our shelves we’ve been avoiding. Now’s the time to get stuck into it.

Watching That Movie You Meant To Watch And Never Did

I’ve been watching a lot more movies lately and have a whole list to get through. Mostly big name classics I feel like everyone’s watched but me.

Spring Clean

Tis’ the Season after all.

Make A List of Everything You Miss Doing and Do Those Things the Minute Lockdown Is Over

Because we will get through this and there will be a lot of things we’ll never take for granted again!

Rearrange Your Bookshelves

Rainbow, alphabettical, by height, by genre. However you want, try something different. Just, don’t get your cat to do it…

Dianne’s Dance Tutorials

So many people have been sharing their skills for free online and Dianne Buswell from Strictly Come Dancing is one of them. She’s been sharing fun choreography to songs like Single Ladies to get you on your feet. It’s really fun and a good way to get you active in your home.

Start A Blog

If this is something you’ve always thought about doing but never felt you had time to, nows the perfect time to give it a try.

How are you coping with isolation?

Thanks For Reading,
Jess X

  1. These are such great ideas. I definitely need to take up that whole β€œwriting” thing. But here we are πŸ˜‚ I hate the uncertain futures. I just graduated and it’s hard not being able to do anything about it right now 😞
