Hi Readers!
A lot of us are in isolation right now. There’s no where to go, not a lot to do. Might as well write that novel we’ve been meaning to write, right?
That’s my plan anyway. NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month hosts a Camp version every April where you get to choose your word goal, so you can go higher or lower the 50,000 (which is the word goal for the official event in November).
I’ve been planning and writing down numerous ideas and it’s about time I get drafting. So I’m going to use this opportunity to do that.
Word Goal: 25,000
Daily Word Goal: 833
I’ve decided I don’t want to be stressed about this because there’s already too much of that right now. So I’ve decided my word goal will be half the 50,000.
What Am I Writing?
I don’t have a very detailed plan right now for my book. I have a title, a theme and some character names/personalities. I know where it starts, I have an idea of the middle, and I know where it ends.
It will be Contemporary YA about mental health with a (hopefully) really cute friends to lovers which I will be trying very hard not to make too tropey.
Will You Be Participating?
If you are, lets be buddies! My username on their website is Comfort Reads.
